Thomas Pluck was born in Nutley, New Jersey, the hamlet from which Martha Stewart sprang like a decoratin' demon in a cloud of brimstone and potpourri. He attended Rutgers University where he graduated with College Honors for his short story collection, Avondale. He has had numerous short stories published in Beat to a Pulp, McSweeney's, Shotgun Honey, The Morning News, The Flash Fiction Offensive, The Utne Reader and Pulp Metal Magazine and Pure Slush, and has upcoming publications in Needle: A Magazine of Noir, Pulp Modern, All Due Respect, Crimefactory Magazine, Plots With Guns and Crimespree. He is currently working on his first novel.
